In this episode, Smith and Southerland interview Pastor Brad Whitt about his amazing filing system that allows him to categorize and file everything: illustrations, old sermons, digital audio files, books and even old preaching tapes.
And he can retrieve any of it by simply typing in a keyword or Scripture reference.

I am a pastor of a small church and I looked on the Paper Tiger website and was wondering which 1 would work best for me. I actually was just thinking last week of how to file my stuff and keep track of my library. The prices range from $99-$199 and some are recomended for businesses and some for personal use. Which 1 would best suite me?

Jamie,
Paper Tiger has changed significantly in the past year, but from my conversations with their main guy and personal experience, you will want the single user professional edition. This way you can create the backups and have your assistant send them to you via email. The network edition and the basic won’t really do what is needed. Also, they are saying that a new edition will be out in the not so distance future.
Once you get the software, feel free to contact me and I’ll walk you through the process.
Hope this is helpful.
HIS,
Brad Whitt

If I purchase the single user professional edition do I also need to get the upgrade or is that for something else?

Jamie,
From what I remember, the upgrade is if you already have a prior version, so just buy the single user professional edition and you should be set. Once you get it in feel free to contact me and I’ll walk you through getting set up and explain the process for making your backups.
