Scott and Joel are available for two-on-one, individual coaching. In the same way that executive coaching exists to help top level executives flesh out their potential in the marketplace, Scott and Joel are bringing the same professionalism to the frontlines of pastoral ministry. And, comparatively, the cost is likely eligible to be reimbursed or covered by your church budget as a professional or continuing education expense.
This program is results-based, therefore, for a limited time. Our typical time frame is two months. This includes:
- an initial 2 hour "mapping" session
- submission of requested audio and video of several of your sermons
- one 1-hour phone session per week for 5 weeks, dropping to one 30 minute session for 3-6 more weeks
- unlimited email support
- any books or training resources we recommend (we provide, no extra charge)
In our coaching program, we help the preacher enhance preparation, delivery or both. We apply proprietary feedback models that allow us to:
- gauge specific weak points that may occur in the study or the pulpit and shore them up, streamline them, and in many cases, eliminate them altogether
- identify and enhance natural communication strengths
- identify and eliminate self-imposed limitations and fears that inhibit natural communication flow
- help you create a sermon prep system that consistently generates fresh, original, full-orbed, engaging expository sermons week after week
Our coaching also includes time and life management assessments, if the client so desires, delivering our best methods and techniques for:
- totally emptying the inbox and creating a system to keep it managable
- training and managing support staff and/or volunteers to free up your time for what’s really important
- gaining an extra 3-10 hours in your workweek
- implementing boundaries with your church that will be respected, boundaries that prioritize health and family
- bullet-proofing your study time
- streamlining sermon prep
